THE PROLOGUE In the world of Qualiquerine there was once chaos. Then Queen Meriline and her beloved husband King Phyros rose to power and built a huge white stone castle they called Harmonia. Peace came to the world and the Queen and King ruled with a fair hand all but the Outterlands. Then a young mage woman from the Outterlands came to Harmonia, and set an evil plan in motion. Jezzabella seduced King Phyros when he was at a weak moment, and in the union produced a child. When Phyros learned of such a few weeks later he went to his wife Meriline and confessed his sins. Meriline in a fit of righteous rage, with the help of her loyal paladins, stripped Phyros of his crown, his marriage, and banished him to the Outterlands along with Jezzabella. Phyros was still a good man and chose to wed Jezzabella, but Jezzabella began to bring changes to Phyros, making him evil. Slowly but determinedly King Phyros and Queen Jezzabella began building an empire of their own in the Outterlands. Together they had a son, Prince Phoenix, and Phyros has been training him to one day rule and grow this empire they call Discordia. Meriline refused remarry, she has no obvious heir for her throne. Which is why Phyros thinks it should be easy to simply kill her and take her throne for his son. But a secret is being well kept hidden within the empire of Harmonia, a secret romance brewing between Queen Meriline and some unknown man. The battle between Good, Harmonia, and Evil, Discordia, rages on. Meanwhile the Outterlands are shrinking constantly as both Harmonia and Discordia expand their empires and force those neutrals there to either choose or die. One day all of Qualiquerine will be good or evil... and who will win the war? Or will the meek who remain neutral and hide deep enough not to be slaughtered actually survive to rule the world when good and evil tear each other apart? Time will tell the story of Qualiquerine.
Two kingdoms, Queen Meriline of Harmonia, and King Phyros of Discordia, rule the majority of the world, the other portion is the Outterlands ruled by no one. Harmonia and Discordia are at war with each other, a battle between what is considered good and evil, but those who live in the Outterlands have as yet remained neutral.
