-- You must have an approved profile before you begin rping. The class(occupation), race, and alignment(good,neutral,evil) are listed for you to choose from for a reason, choose one don't make up your own and do not try to make a character that is half this and half that. There are no half races unless given prior permission from Cassi or Andrea. Classes are different as they are your character's occupation in life, they are learned, so one could receive training in more than one, but only those classes listed on the site. However if you have a suggestion for a new race or class you may PM(private message) either Cassi or Andrea with your suggestions.
--Inactivity: we all know how real life can interfere with our online worlds and we typically will give you three weeks to a month before locking your character. However those who happen to roleplay with you would gratefully appreciate if you do not allow this to happen. If the person you are rping with goes inactive, it is up to you to decide how long to wait before trying to move on to rping with someone else instead. Just keep in mind that if you are inactive too, you may get locked as well. In order to regain control of your character you will need to log back into the site and pm either Cassi or Andrea. If you have not logged back in a month after your account was locked, then your character profile and all your threads will be archived and non-retrievable. So please everyone stay active.
-- No Mary Sues or Gary Stus. No one is perfect or all powerful, or always a victim of everything imaginable.
-- One liners: we don't like one line posts, so don't do them. It is not that hard to come up with at least three sentences, even if they are tiny sentences and your post looks like it's only one line. It isn't fair to the person trying to rp with you to not elaborate at least a little on either the thoughts in your characters head, the scenery around you both, emotions, or the words your speak to the other character. As I said it should not be all that hard to end up writing perhaps more than you planned to. Also if you don't like reading, then a written role play such as this is probably not your cup of tea, as you can't make a proper reply to your rping companion if you aren't willing to read their entire post to you.
-- Plot Twists: the staff reserves the right to throw out a plot twist into your threads which your characters will then have to rp. Cassi and Andrea will post to your thread with their admin accounts and notify you of the sudden twist in your plots or take control of your characters to create a plot twist. If you have a problem with the twist or the admins taking control of your characters then do not spam the thread with ooc or the general board with your complaint, PM the admins with it.
-- The bad word filter is off so it is up to you to keep your profanity to a minimum or put a warning of (PF) in the subject line of the thread. If you have a topic that has explicit violence put (VC) in the subject or title of the thread. Same goes for sex, put (SC) up there. Only the person who posted the first post in a thread can change the title of the thread after the fact, if you have problems or don't understand then pm the admin.
-- We will only put a limit on things if they get out of control, ie the male to female ratio or the pregnancy numbers or the race or class numbers get too abundant.
-- If you chose to delete a character, you must inform the admins, either by a post on the general, or in a pm. It isn't required, but would be helpful to us, if you would give us a little info on the character(s) you are deleting, such as links to any threads they posted in that are still open and active, links to the profile, things like that just speed up the process for us who have to remove or lock things.
-- Andrea and Cassi reserve the right to change or edit the rules at any time they see fit.
